We had some company from the Seattle area here for hunting. It is always great having Ross and Brenda here as we have a lot of laughs and good times. They managed to get one bull elk but no deer. We had some great meals and a few glasses of wine.
The weather has not been so good for the last week though. The temperatures went from the high 50's/low 60's to below zero. One of our stock water tanks did not heat up as it was supposed to and froze. That is a bummer. Got it thawed out and will wait until the weather breaks to work on it some more. Right now we have it covered with a light bulb in it keeping it from freezing. We don't have that much snow, but the ground is sure white.
Veterans Day parade in Corvallis. My knee would not allow me to march and it was cold!!! But I took a few pictures. The school kids get out of school to march with us which is always great.
Not as many people marching this year because it was so cold.
Dell spends a lot of time trying to catch the squirrels gathering pine nuts.
Frozen pumpkins.
Ross with his bull. He shot it on the sledding hill just about dark. Gary just drove down with the tractor and drug it up and loaded it in the back of the ranch truck.
Brenda checking out the bull in the barn.
Ross tagging it.
