MORE HUNTING SUCESS

Today is the last day of regular hunting season around here.  Some can still hunt whitetail deer if they were sucessful in the drawing for permits shooting with a shotgun, but for the most part hunting is over.  Well Joel (one of Doug and Rita's boys) was able to get a cow elk this morning just west of our place.  He was on my post the other day with Doug when they got a deer.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

It has been awhile since I posted - not much going on around here.  We went over to Ike and Brenda's for Thanksgiving and had a great time.  Their son Riley was home from college, and it was nice visiting with him.  Our nephew Carl has been over hunting but left today without getting an elk.  Hunting has been slow this year around here except nephew Doug got a whitetail buck this morning.
