STILL COOL AND WINDY

Not much change in the weather down here.  A little more windy than we would like and quite a bit cooler than we would like.  Went to the flea market in Quartzsite yesterday for a few things.  Lots of people down there.  Did a real long walk this morning and basically hung around camp most of the day.  I did a good bike ride after lunch with the dog running along or mostly in front trying to get me to go faster.  He loves bike rides!!  And it looks like we will be headed down to Yuma tomorrow.

They even had a Trump Shop at the flea market.

Fruits from last years blooms on a saguaro.

They call these jumping cholla for a reason.

This is a ghost flower.  It looks like another flower so the bees come in for nectar but it produces none.  But the bee being in the flower pollinates it.

A DAY AROUND THE CAMP

We hung around camp mostly today.  Did a pretty long walk this morning and then came back and did some housekeeping, read our books, and drank a little tea and coffee.  Lazy type day.

The Brittle Bush is in full bloom right now here in this area.

The desert looks pretty green this year.

We are seeing quite a few humming birds right now also even if it is a little cold.

The mountains in KOFA refuge.

Some hedgehog cactus.

After our walk I came back and had a banana and some more tea watching the sun rise higher.
