We are down in the desert country around Quartzsite, AZ now. It is the greenest I have ever seen the desert. One of the wettest springs on record we are told. The flowers in this area are in their prime. The cactus is just budding. We will be headed down to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in a week or so. Maybe they will be in bloom while we are down there.
The snowbirds are heading north. We were in the town of Quartzsite looking for a solar panel today and there seemed to be a big going away party. The campsites out in the desert are getting pretty empty.
