12 inches of new snow at the ski resort this morning. Roads were forecast to be bad with lots of black ice. That helped keep a lot of people home I guess as there were not as many powder hounds up there as I would expect with that much snow. It was raining pretty hard here at our place and for most of the way up the valley. It started to change to snow about Conner. Roads were then slushy, but I never saw much black ice if any. But we had lots of powder powder to ski and it snowed all day. Great day. Skied with Dave for most of the morning and with Tim and George over on chair 4 in the sacjac area. A little wind blown in open places, but really some great powder in the trees.
The kind of days I like - snowing 1/2 to 1 inch of snow per hour.
George skiing in sacjac. You have to watch where you are going out there.
Dave coming down into Moose Creek.
