2013: We are now in the Ajo area having
left Quartzsite and Yuma. Also ran over
to Algadones, Mexico for a few things.
Our friends Gary and Georgine joined us in Quartzsite. They had some water problems with their camp
trailer so had to get that fixed on a weekend.
We were lucky to find a guy that did mobile RV repair at a very
reasonable price. Left Quartzsite and
headed to Yuma where we camped at Senator Wash and did some kayaking. Gary and Georgine just bought a kayak so that
was fun kayaking with them. On our way here to Ajo we stopped at Painted Rocks Petroglyphs Site and campground.
Sunrise on my morning paddle.
Zeph jumping in after his tennis ball.
Carp spawning near the shorelines. We saw lots of these fish near the shores.
Our camp on the shore of Senator Wash.
A turkey vulture coming in to roost.
Another view of camp.
G and GB in their new kayak.
Zeph spent most of his time getting wet.
A beer after a long of day of paddling.
