We are continuing our See MT 2019 trip and spent some time seeing the Rocky Mountain Front. We camped for a few nights up the Benchmark Road at Woods Lake. Did some exploring and hiking around. What a great place to feast your eyes on some spectacular scenery. We drove to the end of the road where there are a lot of outfitters taking people into the Wilderness area. We also found a 6000 foot runway up there which I was not aware of. And it is paved! I could land my c-130 there twice with that much runway!! Here are some pictures of the area.

We noticed lots of moss on the trees on a hike around the Lake. |

And lots of mushrooms. |

Juniper berries. |

A hike behind our camp. |

Lots of rocks have fallen off the mountain over the years. |

This is Double Falls just down the road from our camp. |

Someone has put up duck nesting places along the shore. |

The jeep waiting for our return. |
The next day we explored the Teton River after leaving the
camper in the Cave Mountain campground part way up. What a lot of country that area is. There were more people up this road than the
Benchmark road. And the Cave Mountain
campground was almost full when we got back.
