Connie and I went up to Como Lake to do a little kayaking today. We need to make sure our arms are in shape as we are going to be doing a lot of kayaking in the next three weeks at Flaming Gorge and Lake Powell. Como is getting pretty low and they will turn off the irrigation water the first part of September. The lake was pretty calm today and we had a nice paddle to the upper end.
This little snake was only about a foot long, but it was really aggressive. It would strike at you when you were a couple of feet away.
The water at the upper end is really low.
