We drove through just a corner of the panhandle of Oklahoma
and then to a state park near Los Animas, CO.
Visited some of the Comanche National Grasslands and got to drive on
some really dusty roads! And the tumble
weeds, both size and quantity impress us.
The welcome sign for OK on a not too traveled 2 lane.
The little picnic area had lots of tumble weeds!
Hard to really see the tumble weeds stacked in the gully with the brush and trees.
Some of the petroglyphs.
Connie exploring some of the caves.
Even Zeph got in on the climbing around the rocks.
Lots of lichens on the north slopes.
