27 March 2021: We slowed our progress north for one day and went out to Valley of Fire at the Nevada State Park and hiked a trail we had not hiked in a number of years. Last time we did this hike was with Bill and Marney and that was many years ago. It is a great hike but more crowded than in years past. I think we hiked it first in the mid 90’s when we first started camping and hiking there right after we retired and were based out of SLC doing a lot of skiing. But when there was no new powder to ski, we would go hike and explore. The pictures don’t do it justice but you can get an idea of how it looks.
