We took a hike up to some old Indian ruins just south of our camp. There is not trail so it was bushwhacking at it's best. Not to bad though. The only cats claw brush was in the bottom we had to cross to get there. It was sure interesting being up there. Kind of strange also. There were lots of shards and an old rock that you can tell they ground their corn on.
Lots of Lupine on our hike down into the wash.
A few shards on the rock that was the corn grinder.
Some of the walls of the ruin. This one, as many are in this area, was built on top of a mountain. The weather was different a thousand years ago so maybe there was a spring really close for water.
Sitting on the grinder rock.
