We left Burro Canyon Campground and drove to Apache Junction where we had lunch with an old High School chum of mine - Roger and his wife Fran. Hadn't seen them in a few years since an all-class high school reunion. Then it was on to Oak Flat campground where we decided to stay and go see the Arboretum the next morning. What a great place that is! Will have to stop by again. I took way too many pictures and none did justice to the place. Left there about noon and drove to Deming, NM. Were going to stay in a State Campground but it was full so had to settle for a RV campground.

Lots of humming birds also. This one had just started to nest near the restrooms in the main building. They make their nests mostly out of spider webs we were told.
