BACK IN ARIZONA

We left New Mexico and Ike and Brenda and traveled to Roosevelt Lake in Arizona.  We are camped at our favorite spot at this lake at a place we call the "point".  We have camped at this place for many years and it is synonymous with what we think of as Arizona in the springtime.  We camped here the first time with our friends from Utah in the early 2000 era.  Can't say for sure since I don't have my books with me that go back that far but it has to be over 10 years at least.  It has always been a place we have enjoyed.and keep coming back to.

Had a nice drive from Alamogordo, NM to here as the weather was great and hardly any wind compared to what we have been through.  We left Ike and Brenda who were headed down to El Paso, TX and we drove back west towards Arizona - they headed southeast towards Texas.

Mom, you are doing a great job of driving but I think you missed the turn back there.

But you sometimes get stopped by rock walls.

Of course you can always try climbing around them!
