RANDOM PICTURES FROM AJO

It has really warmed up down here in AJO.  High 70's is what we are having now.  Nights are still very cool though so that helps.  Below are just a few random pictures taken in the last few days.

Never saw a growth like this on a saguaro before.

Lots of organ pipe cactus growing on this hillside.

The ocotillo are finally getting their leaves.

This saguaro is the one we look for to find the cemetery road to turn on. 

This new ocotillo has the most leaves on it we have seen so far.

This is a pack rat nest that he or she piles up with cholla to keep the coyotes at bay.  A lot of time they build these at the base of the organ pipe cactus.
