We are now camped at Gila Bend AF Auxiliary Station. AND WE HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE! So that means I am able to update my blog. I am amazed at how we are dependent on the technology that we have. It seemed odd that we were not able to bring up a weather forecast or get the latest news because we could not connect to a cell phone tower out where we were. And not just a day or two, but over a week!
Anyway, here are some pictures of Desert Big Horn sheep and of our drive up to the Harquahala Observatory. Click on a picture to get a better view as they were some distance from us.
Click on a picture to enlarge it and get a better view of the sheep. |
These were the rams that were fighting. We just did not get any good pictures of them fighting and they were getting pretty nervous with us around so quit fighting |
Some of the ewes and youngsters. |
