We are just about to leave the Quartzsite area and head a little east. Going to the Harlaquala Wilderness area and explore it some. We did a hike the other day trying to get to the Arch tank but the cholla beat us. We got into a real bad area for it and Zeph got into it really bad. He sat down to try and get one out of his foot but sat in a pile of them that had washed down a little wash. It was bad and they were getting worse. But we went back to the Grey tank so he could do some swimming. Did some other hiking in the area though.

Supper the other night. |

These holes are caused when rocks swirl around in a depression when the water is really running after a big rain. They take years and years. They also form in caves and alcoves when the wind does the same. Interesting. |

This is the flea market at Quartzsite early before the crowds arrive. |
We were so intent on getting the cholla out of dog we didn't stop to take pictures but Connie snapped this on of some on her shoe.
