UPDATE 11 JUNE 2015

Spring has turned to summer.  We went from the mid 70's to the mid 90's in just a couple of days.  Air conditioner on!!!!  The valley farmers are cutting hay and summer looks and feels like it has arrived.

We are both busy - Connie working horses and I have been doing non-profit organization things.  Have my 50th High School reunion at the end of the month so have been working that pretty hard.  Not getting the response to it that I had hoped, but might have around 30 folks attending.  It will be fun.

Gary and Margee left this morning for Margee's family reunion back in Wisconsin I think it is.  They will be gone for about 10 days.  We are watching their place and two dogs while they are gone.

A Calliope humming bird sitting a kokapele blowing his horn.

We had a storm blow through the other night that had some lightning and wind associated with it.  And the sky was a different color for quite some time.

Lots of pretty clouds as the sunset lower.

Old high school chums came out to visit and hike over to an old cabin by our place they remembered from long ago.

It certainly is not in good as shape as 50 years ago.

Saw this small bull snake on our walk back.

MORE FLOWERS

The Bitterroots are really starting to bloom around here - the old saying that the Bitterroots are in bloom the first of June really is true this year.  Still getting some rain so that is good.

The horses taking a nap.

The poppies are starting to bloom.

And the Bitterroots on the horse path are really starting to pop.

An unusual viola on the patio.

We had a thunderstorm come through with a lot of wind proceeding it.  At the bottom of this picture you can see the pine pollen (greenish yellow) blowing through the trees in the wind.
