LAST RICO UPDATE

We all had a good time down in Rico.  I have been quite busy since coming back and have just not finished posting some of the pictures so they are below.  Will also try and catch up on what has been happening around here since we got back.

Hiking the Lizard Head trail.

We did eat some very good food that is for sure.

The girls on the porch.

Lots of snow in the high country the next to last night.

The is the road up to Telluride which sits at the very end of this valley.

Saw a few elk on our drive into town.

Main Street Telluride.

This is a Colorado marijuana shop.

Checking out the old ski trails we used to haunt.

Riding up hill in the gondola.

Telluride from one of the runs.

I think Connie was used for the model of this statue.

RICO UPDATE 3

A few more pictures of our outstanding 70th birthday party in Rico and some more hiking, the last are pictures going up to a view of the Lizard Head.

Heading out for a hike on the Delores Loop.

Even 70 year olds can do a teter totter.

Spider crossing the road.

The aspens were just amazing.

We hiked into this geyser which is the only active one in Colorado.  It was sort of going off when we got there, but died down shortly after we got there.  Did not stick around for the next one in a few hours.

G hiking out from the geyser with incredible views.

And a little bit of red rock showing through the trees.
Headed up to the Lizard Head.

Even without leaves, the aspens are pretty.

What a colorful group.

Connie and G working their way up the hill.

Connie with some great Colorado views behind her.

The Lizard Head center right.

Billy Bud with his ever present walking sticks!!  That is Connie in the lead to the top.

A panoramic of Connie and Bill just about to the top.

BIRTHDAY PARTY AND CELEBRATING 25 YEAR ON THE PRO LEISURE CIRCUIT

This group of friends that helped celebrate our 70th birthday together, also celebrated my retirement 25 years ago.  So for Connie and I, this party also represented 25 years on the Pro Leisure Circuit.  Below are some pictures of our retirement party and the same people attended that did our 70th Birthday party.  Pretty neat that our group has been together this long.

The Prince William Sound with the gang.

The Kenai Peninsula during the retirement party.
