UPDATE 2 SEPTEMBER 2013

We are busy getting ready to head south to eastern Utah for some kayaking and hiking.  It is still hot and dry around here with a lot of smoke on some days and some days hardly any.  All depends on the way the wind blows.  We do have a lot of yellow jackets hanging around though.  We have some traps put out and are catching a lot of them.  Did a little riding the last week and pulled a few shoes off the horses.

I emptied this trap an hour before taking the picture.  They just keep coming.

I am riding Doug and Rita's horse - big horse and loves to trot.
