VAN, WENDY, AND ELIZA

Van and Wendy brought up their granddaughter Eliza to do some horseback riding and see Montana.  Eliza's mother is really allergic to horses, sagebrush, cats, dogs, and pine trees so she stays away from our place.  She was here once a number of years ago for a Thanksgiving and spent a lot of time in the house on the couch.  But her daughter Eliza does not have that problem and loved riding old Jack around.  We also went on a few hikes and took in one of the best fireworks displays any of us have ever seen on the 4th of July down in Hamilton.

Eliza, Van, Wendy, and Connie on our morning walk.

Connie giving Eliza the finer points of riding old Jack.

Wendy and Van with Zeph watching.

A genuine smile on this girl's face.

At the fireworks display.

Connie always makes the kids put their finger up into the horses nostril.

More fireworks.

Old Jack always gets something put on his head when the kids come.

Know this girl is ready for the parade!

A little hopscotch is always played when the Salt Lake family comes to visit.

The tent tree.

By the time Eliza left, she was riding bareback and smiling all the time.

She even relaxed enough to try napping on Jack.
