HELLO NEW MEXICO

We arrived in New Mexico and first camped at a National Forest campground east of Three Rivers.  We are now camped at the BLM campground at Three Rivers.  It also has a petroglyph site which we hiked over to.  It is not as warm here as it was in Arizona and right now the wind is blowing so hard we are inside the camper.  We can see some dust blowing off in the distance.  Will be leaving here tomorrow and headed up near Albuquerque.

On our drive out we had some elk run across the road.

Found a great place for lunch in Carrizozo.

Not very big and only seats a few but the food was fantastic.
